It was war between Blair and Serena last night on the season finale of Gossip Girl. Evil Serena kept up with her scheming ways, Blair was forced to choose between Dan and Chuck (big surprise who she chooses…), Dan got played and Chuck’s daddy issues continued to dominate the Upper East Side. The drama was epic, and the fashion was on par as well. Let’s jump right in to the final Sartorial Scorecard of the season!
Serena: The little seductress looked sizzling in a red halter and leg revealing skirt in the beginning of the episode, then later changed into a more vampy, tight blue little dress. Dan couldn’t resist her and neither could we. A
Dan: For someone who was getting toyed with by both leading ladies, Dan look rather sexy in his light gray chest exposing shirt. We especially liked him in his suit and even more so when it was taken off by Serena. However, his hair is well past the point of a disaster. Time. For. A. Trim. B+
Blair: The mastermind behind all schemes, Blair went into battle in style, natch. We loved how her hair was swept to the side in her pink and purple ensemble. When she got dolled up for the evening she looked very Betty Draper-esque in her white polka dotted dress. If someone can be so put together when her world is crumbling down, we wouldn’t dare go against her. A+
Chuck: Being reunited with daddy Bart may have been a bust, but Chuck’s grey suit and purple shirt and tie combo was a success! He never disappoints because, like he said to Blair, “I’m Chuck Bass.” A
Nate: Was he even in this episode? We hardly noticed because we are so bored to tears with him in the same darn suit every week. Someone’s in need of a casual Friday. D
